Bio:
Hien Le is an educator and a passionate promoter of liberal arts education and its relevance to contemporary issues and challenges. She holds a Master Degree in Public Policy from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University Singapore and a Bachelor degree in Language Teaching from University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University Hanoi.
During her extensive career spanning over 15 years, she has taught language and academic skills at various institutions including the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University Hanoi, Hanoi University of Technology, Canadian International School, and Vietnamese-American Training Center. She has always cherished educational and professional experiences that have exposed her to multicultural and diverse environments. She believes this kind of exposure is optimal for people to evolve and learn. Hien is also an ardent advocate of liberal arts education, which she believes empowers people to expand their minds and hearts, discover new horizons, pursue their potentials and make a positive impact on the community. She is especially excited to be part of the first and only Vietnamese university that embraces this educational philosophy to date.
Hien joins FUV with a passion to use her knowledge and skills to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all the students, where they feel confident and eager to grow and excel. Her classroom is a dynamic and interactive one, where students are encouraged to be proactive, constructive and compassionate throughout the learning process. Besides helping students to enhance their academic and language abilities, Hien also believes in the importance of fostering their social and emotional competencies so that they grow up into a well-rounded human being.
