On 9th May 2019, Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management, Fulbright University Vietnam signed contract with Ho Chi Minh City Finance and Investment stated-owned Company (HFIC).

Within Vietnam, HCMC is always identified as a leading economic driver and a national financial center. However, HCMC is yet deemed as an international financial center (regionally or globally). Meanwhile, big cities of many economies in the region have successfully evolved into international financial centers.

Under the provisions of the contract, Fulbright School conducts feasibility study and consults HFIC on making HCMC into an international financial center. Specifically, Fulbright advisory group will comprehensively evaluate current position of HCMC as the foundations for their policy recommentations and action plans to drive the project towards success.
