The VSC’s programs, projects, and events are focused on promoting Vietnamese national identity and cultivating awareness of national and global citizenship. By fostering a constructive spirit and ethical values within the community, the Center encourages dialogue, mutual understanding, and positive contributions to social development.

Our six-week interdisciplinary summer program offers Vietnamese heritage students, non-Vietnamese students, and Fulbright students the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Vietnam through a combination of classroom learning, practical experiences, and significant final projects.

VSC offers financial support for a wide range of students’ research initiatives and creative projects that engage with Vietnam’s heritage. The projects should contribute to the interdisciplinary landscape of Vietnam Studies and advance our understanding of Vietnam’s past, present, and future. The results of the projects should be presented in formats accessible to a wide audience, such as podcast series, documentaries, websites, or multimedia platforms, ensuring that the findings reach and engage with diverse communities both locally and globally.
