Nearly 130 Fulbright’s dedicated work-study students and club executives who have made significant contributions and achievements in the past academic year 2021-2022 were treated to a dazzling “Student Affairs & Services Awards” ceremony last Friday.
Made possible by an array of Student Affairs and Services offices, the ceremony announced the winners of its 14 awards named after sparkling gems. From Opal, Emerald, Aquamarine to Ruby, the awards had called for its nominees and votes among the Fulbright community from November 17 to 28. During the ceremony, as each award found its owners, the audience got the chance to look back at the challenging year as snippets of proud moments where full of love and compassion were displayed.
There were four Work-Study Awards:
💎The Opal Award went to 4 Student Engagement best work-study students who were engaged, enthusiastic and always filled with ideas: Lê Thảo Tường Vy (Co24), Nguyễn Việt Hà (Co24), Nguyễn Minh Phú (Co25), and Nguyễn Phan Việt Hằng (Co24).

💎The Emerald Award went to 3 Student Residential Assistants who were not only friendly and loving, but have also been showing a strong sense of responsibility: Lê Đoàn Phương Nhi (Co23), Vũ Mai Anh (Co23), and Nguyễn Đỗ Nguyễn (Co23).

💎The Aquamarine Award went to the Wellness Ambassador of the Year who has showed sympathy, and brought healing energy as much as peace to every room: Nguyễn Thị Hoài Thương (Co24)

✨The Hermatit Award went to the biggest star player of the year: Trương Ngọc Long (Co23) from Fulbright Ultimate Club

✨The Carnelian Award went to the 3 best club events of the year: Trivia Night (Fulbright STEM Club), Vietnam Universities Debating Championship 2022 (Fulbright Debate Club), and LGBTea Party (FulPRIDE and Alliance)
The Sodalite Award went to the 2 most popular clubs of the year: Fulbright CIDO and Fulbright Event Hub.
