Thanh is a Senior Residence Advisor working for the Student Life team and holds an associate position focusing on developing and managing co-curricular programs, supporting student-led activities with the main concentration in athletics and recreation.
Aspirations in the field of education pushed her in pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Russian and English studies from Ho Chi Minh University of pedagogy. She has worked in various roles for Vietnamese state schools, English centers, Consulates, and community services to support civic engagement, sustainable living, and entrepreneurship. Thanh got the opportunities to support students from diverse backgrounds, cultures, majors, interests, motivations as well as levels of prior knowledge and skills. In her point of view, “the more we give, the more we get” and Education is all about giving. She appreciates how critical education is to humans in life and if the technology is the revolution, then education is the guide. She believes Liberal Education is an approach to learning that empowers individuals and prepares them to deal with complexity, diversity, and change. At Fulbright, she seeks to enhance student experience through support services, peer connections, and skills development.
She is a fan of the zero-waste lifestyle, music, travel, and innovation. She’s also interested in interior design and DIY.
