Dr. Hoang Thach Quan has a Ph.D. in American Studies from the State University of New York, at Buffalo, where he also completed his MA on a Fulbright scholarship. He has a long-standing career spanning more than 20 years of teaching at various local and international educational institutes and programs in HCMC, including the Universities of Social Sciences & Humanities, HCMC; RMIT and the CET Vietnam Program (with participating students from Cornell, Yale, Brown, Maryland, Clark Universities…). He has taught courses in US history, US culture and society, and the Vietnamese diaspora. He is also a translator of 6 children’s and 2 non-fiction books.
