Registration and Tickets

Two (02) tickets for guests will be issued to each graduating senior between June 12 and June 16, 2023. Instructions for ticket collection will be sent later. Tickets can be retained for parents/guardians/family members/friends; sale or external distribution is prohibited.

Regalia

All graduating students are required to wear academic regalia, which consists of a gown, cap, sash, and iron patch. During Senior Week, tentatively on June 20th, students will receive their regalia.

The regalia is designed by Class of 2023 students themselves – another legacy they co-design and pass down at Fulbright.

  • The gown was crafted taking inspiration from Fulbright’s branding colors, and has been embellished with intricate design elements to enhance its aesthetic appeal.
  • Sashes are color-coded based on four areas of study: Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences and Engineering, and Mathematics and Computing. Each student will receive the sash that represents their area of study. Students pursuing two areas will receive two sashes accordingly.
  • On top of that, honorary students will receive a yellow sash. The stage party, faculty, and choir will wear a baby blue sash.
  • Each iron patch represents a major offered at Fulbright University including Art and Media Studies, Economics, Literature, History, Psychology, Social Studies, Vietnam Studies, Integrated Sciences, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, and Engineering. Students who pursue two majors will receive two iron patches accordingly. Students are to iron these patches on their sashes.
  • A cap decoration session will be held for students to customize their own cap during the Senior Week.

After the Commencement Ceremony, students can bring home their sashes and caps as keepsakes to commemorate their hard-earned graduation at Fulbright.

Procession

As part of the commencement ceremony, graduating students and faculty members will participate in a procession around the Fulbright campus. The procession marks the beginning of the ceremony and serves as a symbolic representation of the graduates’ achievements.

The ensemble of degree candidates and faculty will be accompanied by a processional band.
