As promised, on Friday, June 5th, 2020, The Admissions and Financial Aid Office sent the highly anticipated admission results to our Spring Admissions Cycle applicants. Congratulations to our new Class of 2024, you will now be joining us on the journey to building Vietnam’s first liberal arts university.
This cycle has been special, both for the Admissions team and for our applicants. Unlike during previous years, we could not visit schools or host Fulbright’s Open Houses as was tradition, due to the Covid-19 restrictions forcing schools to remain closed for months. Instead of meeting in person, we have only met virtually. And yet, Fulbright has received a lot of interest from students both in and outside of Vietnam. These ambitious young people are seeking a chance to experience a well-rounded education and to become change-makers in a world full of uncertainties, showing they share the Fulbright spirit: adaptability and resilience when facing the unknown. Regardless of the result, you have the absolute right to be proud of yourselves for completing the admissions process, giving your best efforts even when Covid-19 has been disrupting many activities and plans of study.
As you have shared with us many times, the journey to Fulbright has been a way for you all to reflect, discover, and learn more about yourself, continuing your adventure to adulthood. Even if you have yet to reach your destination, you have become a part of Fulbright, and Fulbright has now become a part of you as well.
