On 14-15 December, Dr. Bae Yooil, Lecturer at Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management, attended Annual Conference of Korea Association for Public Administration in Seoul, South Korea and presented a paper on recent global development of analytical framework for comparative ‘within-nation’ governance in global academia and its implication for South Korea’s decentralization research.
He also published a book titled ‘South Korea’s Dual Local Democracy: Ideas, Institutions, and Varieties of Decentralization’(in Korea, 2018), which critically assessed and traced the development of central-local relationships in South Korea from a comparative perspective.
