One of Phuong’s favorite moments is the photo capturing herself wearing her belief – a #SaveSonDoong T-shirt heading to the finish line at a full marathon race in 2017. This is also the T-shirt she and her teammate handed to former U.S President Obama during his visit to Vietnam in 2016. Since 2014, she has been a founding team member in Save Son Doong, a “start-up” civil society organization.
Prior to work at Fulbright University Vietnam as an Admissions Officer, she was the National Operation Manager of VietSeeds Foundation – an 8 years old educational non-profit organization invests in hundred high potential and underprivileged students. Those unique experiences have sharpened her skillset on project management especially in inclusive admissions and training and mentoring programs.
