Nhất Tâm has been teaching English to Vietnamese students from diverse backgrounds and doing action research for 10 years. In 2016, she started to conduct research on challenges in learning and teaching English to students with disabilities, specifically students with visual impairment. She believes that every single student has their own learning style, advantages and disadvantages in learning and that universities should provide an inclusive environment where all of learners can embrace and promote their identity and best develop their professional and personal life. Joining Fulbright team, she is looking forward to contributing to the construction of an inclusive learning environment for the students.
