Increased financial aid for admitted applicants of the Master in Public Policy MPP2023

The Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management’s 2021 admission cycle started right when the 4th wave of COVID-19 in Vietnam began. In the face of such difficulties, the University has made timely adjustments to provide support to the candidates. In addition to previous changes such as expanding the eligibility of candidates, extending the application deadline, and simplifying some criteria, the University will also provide more generous financial support to applicants compared to previous years. These changes are expected to bring fairer and more open opportunities to candidates who demonstrate high potential and compatibility with the University’s training vision.

Specifically, in addition to criteria such as excellent personal achievements, coming from the public sector, or working in remote areas, etc., the university will provide additional financial aid packages for candidates from different industries, sectors, or areas severely affected by the pandemic. The package will be decided on a case-by-case basis, as well as depending on the number of satisfactory applications submitted to the program. To minimize limitations and interruptions by the COVID-19 pandemic, the school promises to support candidates to the best of its resources.

Started out as an educational cooperation project even before the normalization of Vietnam – US relations, for more than 25 years, the Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management has always aimed to provide all Vietnamese citizens with opportunities to access modern knowledge equally. As we stick to the principle of “choosing not the best but the most suitable”, financial aid packages of the Fulbright School are always awarded to individuals with the potential to make positive changes to the future of their community and country. That’s why Fulbright is constantly updating not only our curricula but also the way we admit and financially support candidates who have the capability to be leaders – changemakers.
