Fulbright to Host Exhibition to Save Son Doong

November 23, 2018, 13:00 – 15:30, 2nd Floor, 105 Ton Dat Tien, Tan Phu, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City

On Friday, 23 November 2018 through Sunday, 25 November 2018 the Save Son Doong Virtual Reality Exhibition will come to Fulbright’s Crescent Campus. This event will be held three days. Friday is specific for faculty, staff, and students at Fulbright, while Saturday and Sunday are open to the general public.

Le Nguyen Thien Huong, a Senior Admissions Associate at Fulbright University Vietnam, co-founded the Save Son Doong movement to preserve the cave. Earlier this year, she was named a Forbes Vietnam 30 Under 30.

“This exhibition brings to life a sample of the innovative education Fulbright hopes to inspire in its students,” said Huong. “We are applying technology to bring to life the science lessons of the world’s most pristine ecosystem.”

At the event, guests are invited to explore the Son Doong Cave virtually and learn more about the initiative to save the cave.

Friday’s event for the Fulbright community will take place 1:30 pm – 3:45 pm. Saturday and Sunday’s events for the public begin at 9 am and end at 6 pm. In order to reserve your slot, please register here. For questions, please email info@fulbright.edu.vn.
