General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng was a visionary leader deeply committed to educational reform. His vision was to create an education system that could adapt to global standards while nurturing the unique values and strengths of Vietnam.
Fulbright University Vietnam was included in the US-Vietnam Joint Vision Statement during General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng’s visit to the United States with President Barack Obama in 2015. During this trip, General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng witnessed the granting of the investment certificate for Fulbright University Vietnam to develop a flagship campus in the Saigon Hi-Tech Park, Ho Chi Minh City. We are eternally grateful for his support, which has been fundamental in shaping Fulbright University Vietnam and its development.
