Dr. Michael Reid visits Fulbright University from the Singapore University of Technology of Design, where he has taught introductory and advanced courses in the Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences for nearly a decade. He holds a PhD from Stanford University in British Literature, and an M.A. from St. John’s College in the History of Mathematics and Science.
His teaching and research interests center broadly on the intersections of philosophy of mind and literature, narrative theory, aesthetics, the history of ideas, and American pragmatism, particularly in Henry and William James. He looks forward to offering a seminar at Fulbright on thought experiments.
