Phạm Minh Hiếu, a final-year student majoring in Economics with a minor in Psychology at Fulbright University Vietnam, was awarded the Young Change Maker Scholarship in recognition of his six years of dedicated community service.

Born and raised in a rural district school, Hiếu was acutely aware of the challenges local students faced in accessing extracurricular activities, community engagement, and opportunities for personal growth. This awareness inspired him to take a bold step by participating in the Project Incubator for Young Social Entrepreneurship (PISE) summer camp during his 10th grade. Through this program, Hiếu gained essential skills, training, and mentorship to launch his own philanthropic initiatives. This experience also introduced him to Fulbright University Vietnam.
Hiếu successfully developed multiple community projects, including founding the first club in Tháp Mười District, Đồng Tháp Province. The club focused on topics such as environmental conservation, personal development, and child sexual abuse prevention. Over the years, Hiếu maintained his involvement with PISE in various roles. Most recently, he served as President of PISE 2023 and is now an advisor to the program.

Reflecting on this long journey, Hiếu shared:
“I’m just an ordinary person with a desire to create extraordinary outcomes alongside other ordinary young people, breaking through barriers together. With PISE, I hope to bring opportunities for personal development and community contribution to young people across Vietnam. This mission makes every moment of my life a special privilege.”

Currently, in addition to advising on social projects, Hiếu works in Communications, Marketing, and Social Media. As for his long-term goals, he aims to sustain his impact on society through all his endeavors while exploring entrepreneurship with several ideas he is eager to develop.
