Vo Thi Thanh Tuyen

Tuyen Vo steps into her role as Program Coordinator at the Vietnam Studies Center with a wealth of experience from her over-eight-year tenure at Fulbright University Vietnam. Before joining VSC, Tuyen was instrumental in leading pivotal projects, such as the Fulbright Everest Launchpad (FEL) program, the admission process, the Fulbright Speakers’ Series, the Taiwanese Cinema Roundtable and the International Academic Conference Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc. Her journey from a Project Assistant to a Senior Communications Officer allowed her to develop a profound ability to connect with a wide range of stakeholders—students, faculty, parents, and external collaborators. She remarked on her commitment to Fulbright’s mission, “When I chose to join the Fulbright project, I did not hesitate to set aside my personal development plans at the time, knowing that the opportunity to jointly develop an independent, nonprofit university in Vietnam was a once-in-a-lifetime chance. I hope that I can contribute to spreading the Fulbright spirit throughout the community and redefining what a university can be in Vietnam.”
Tuyen Vo boasts a diversified educational background with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City, supplemented by certificates in Pedagogical Training, Multimedia Graphic Design, and Digital Filmmaking & 3D Game Design from notable institutions. With a career starting at UNICEF’s 1000 Days Project, Tuyen advanced through various roles, including PR Officer at Vietnam America Education Group and Project Manager at iCare Benefits, before joining Fulbright University Vietnam.
Outside of her professional role, Tuyen is passionate about nature, art, and social causes, particularly in education and environmental sustainability. She believes in the power of small changes to create a significant impact and is committed to working collaboratively towards a positive influence in these areas.
