Le Nguyen Tuong Van

Van Le is the newly appointed Digital Humanities Curator at Fulbright, who specializes in bridging the gap between technology and the humanities. With an academic journey that spans continents, Van’s expertise is grounded in her education from Università di Bologna and Université de Perpignan, coupled with a Bachelor of Arts cum Laude from Bryn Mawr College. Her recent role in digital humanities marks a significant phase in her career, emphasizing her commitment to the interdisciplinary field. In her latest endeavor with Fulbright, Van will be involved in the “Digitizing Vietnam” project, a collaborative effort with Columbia University. This initiative aims to explore and preserve Vietnamese culture and history through digital means.
Van’s fluency in multiple languages, including Vietnamese, English, French (DALF C1), and Chinese (HSK 6), along with her technical skills in full-stack web development from CoderSchool, positions her to manage and enrich digital curation projects effectively. Her prior experience as an Associate Learning Designer at RMIT University highlights her ability to work collaboratively with academics, develop engaging learning sequences, and facilitate the integration of digital collections into educational activities, underscoring her dedication to making academic resources accessible and engaging.
Through her work, Van aspires to bridge the gap between traditional humanities and digital innovation, fostering a deeper appreciation for Vietnam’s history and literature.
