
Fulbright University Vietnam is pleased to announce the 3+2 Engineering Program, a distinguished academic collaboration between Fulbright University Vietnam and the University of California, Irvine (UCI). This program provides an exceptional pathway for students to pursue advanced studies in engineering and earn both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree within five years.
Program Structure
Phase 1: Years 1–3 at Fulbright
- Complete three years of undergraduate study in the Human-Centered Engineering major at Fulbright.
Phase 2: Year 4 at UCI
- Enroll at UCI through the Academic Study Abroad Program of UCI.
- Engage in advanced coursework and optionally take up to two graduate-level engineering courses, which will contribute toward the M.S. degree requirements.
- Fulbright will confer the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree upon successful completion of Year 4 and all requirements for the FUV undergraduate program.
Phase 3: Year 5 at UCI
- Matriculate into UCI’s Master of Science (M.S.) program and complete the required graduate coursework.
- UCI will confer the M.S. degree upon successful completion of the program requirements.
Admission Criteria
- Major: Human-Centered Engineering
- Academic standing: Completion of three full academic years of undergraduate study
- GPA requirement: Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale)
- English language proficiency:
- TOEFL: 85 iBT / 550 PBT
- IELTS: 7.0
