In mid-July, Fulbright University Vietnam’s campus became an inspiring gathering place for nearly 50 young Zalo managers during the closing ceremony of the Zalo x Fulbright Leadership Development Program. This milestone marks the end of a two-month intensive learning journey under the me.grow program – a key part of Zalo’s comprehensive leadership development strategy for young managers.

Designed in an MBA format, the program focused on equipping participants with self-awareness, critical thinking, practical leadership skills, creativity, and problem-solving capabilities. Throughout the program, participants tackled real-life Harvard Business Review cases, engaged in analysis, classroom discussions, and debates to sharpen their critical thinking and decision-making skills. Reflection exercises helped them discover their own core values – the “me” spirit of me.grow. A highlight of the program was the Capstone Project, where each participant chose a real challenge at Zalo, analyzed it, and presented solutions to senior leaders.
Accompanying the participants was a team of highly experienced and reputable lecturers:
- Dr. Nguyễn Chí Hiếu – CEO of IEG Global, Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford, MBA from Oxford, education and leadership expert.
- Dr. Phan Hoàng Lan – Former Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation at Fulbright, Ph.D. in Business & Design from Swinburne University of Technology, M.A. in Development Economics from Oxford.
- Dr. Trang Nguyễn – CEO & Founder of Otus Consulting, holds a degree in Neurobiology & Psychology from Harvard and a Ph.D. in Developmental Science & Psychology from Stanford.
- Ms. Nguyễn Giáng Thu – Senior Advisor at KPMG, over 20 years of experience in HR management and organizational development, Master of Civil Law from Panthéon-Assas Paris II University.

This combination of theory, practice, and deep sharing provided participants with not only knowledge but also powerful inspiration to continue growing and spreading a sustainable leadership mindset at Zalo.
The closing ceremony not only honored the persistence, discipline, and commitment of each participant but also affirmed the success of Zalo and Fulbright in nurturing a new generation of leaders – those ready to guide their organizations forward with people at the heart of every journey.
