Nguyen Viet Dung
Director of Student Affairs and Services

Nguyen Viet Dung is the Director of Student Affairs and Services, bringing over 20 years of experience in community empowerment, education, public health, and social impact. He holds a Master of Public Health and a Master of Health Management from the University of New South Wales, alongside a background in International Law from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.
Dung began his career at Vietnam’s Ministry of Health, where he coordinated national health communication and promotion initiatives, engaged in policy advocacy, international relations, and organized collaborative programs between Vietnamese and international partners. He later worked with various international non-governmental organizations in the areas of health and education, leading initiatives related to HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, tuberculosis, hypertension, school sanitation, road safety, and STEM education. Prior to joining Fulbright, Dung served as Executive Director of Loreto Vietnam, supporting more than 100,000 students, through school development, libraries, special needs education, sanitation programs and technology access initiatives across Vietnam.
Having previously served as Associate Director of Development and Strategic Initiatives and Director of YSEALI Academy at Fulbright, Dung is deeply committed to student wellbeing, inclusion, and empowerment. He takes pride in being a trusted mentor and advocate for students, championing liberal arts education and opportunities that help Vietnamese youth realize their fullest potential.
