Phạm Quỳnh Hương is a final-year student at Fulbright University Vietnam, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Integrated Sciences. Hương has always been passionate about creating positive change in society. To her, entrepreneurship is not just a short-term project, but a way to pursue the belief that creativity holds true value only when rooted in a deep understanding of people and the challenges they encounter.
“I embrace trial and error; the more I fail, the more I learn and discover effective solutions,” Hương shared, never hesitant to experiment and grow from setbacks as part of the learning process.
In her sophomore year, Hương embarked on her entrepreneurial path with Chewfully. Observing that many peers practiced unhealthy eating habits, such as rushed or mindless eating, she developed Chewfully – an application integrating sensor technology to encourage users to practice “mindful eating.” The startup achieved remarkable success, securing a top-three position in the Student Shark Tank Competition at the Global Health Summit 2023.
In her senior year, Hương expanded her entrepreneurial endeavors with AllStep, a mobility-assistive walker designed for individuals with cerebral palsy. After months of interviews with doctors, parents, and the cerebral palsy community, her team gained deep insights into daily mobility challenges and practical needs, enabling them to develop a solution that is both technologically innovative and human-centered.
Throughout her entrepreneurial journey, Hương has been guided and supported by Professor Lê Quân in Human-Centered Engineering major. With his experience in major corporations, he has provided Hương with not only technical expertise but also invaluable real-world business insights. Notably, the teams behind Hương’s projects consist of Fulbright University students – young, passionate individuals driven by the shared goal of creating sustainable social impact.
Beyond her own ventures, Hương has broadened her experience by working at Aquila, a pioneering fintech company focused on sustainable development solutions. In her junior year, inspired by Aquila’s vision for sustainability and innovative spirit, Hương proactively applied to join the team. After a year as a Product Manager, she was invited to continue with the company post-graduation in the role of Sustainability Analyst.
