Thuỳ Dương, a Computer Science student from the Class of 2025 at Fulbright University Vietnam, has made impressive strides in her career. After completing an internship at Intel, she is now a full-time employee at Namitech – a tech startup supported by FPT, specializing in AI-powered speech and language processing solutions.
During her time at Fulbright, Dương had the opportunity to participate in various real-world projects, ranging from app development and AI research to interdisciplinary collaborations. These experiences not only honed her problem-solving skills but also strengthened her ability to work effectively in teams—an essential trait in professional environments.
“Thanks to Fulbright’s learning environment, I have built a solid foundation in algorithms and programming while also developing critical thinking and self-research skills—key factors in the tech industry,” Dương shared. “When working on projects at the company, I realized that the ability to self-learn, explore, and solve problems is the greatest advantage that Fulbright has helped me develop.”
For Dương, developing technology products goes beyond just coding; it requires a deep understanding of users, aesthetics, and real-world applications to create well-rounded solutions. This holistic perspective, shaped by Fulbright’s interdisciplinary education, has equipped her with the confidence to navigate the professional landscape.
As graduation approaches, Dương feels a mix of excitement and apprehension, but above all, she is eager to embark on a new journey—ready to turn her dreams into reality.
