We are pleased to report the successful completion of our webinar, “Social Innovation: Inventions for Social Good,” which took place on November 26, 2024. We sincerely thank all participants for their active engagement and valuable insights.
This event explored how innovative ideas can drive social change and improve communities, featuring an interactive lecture by Megan Aanstoos, Senior Program Officer for VentureWell. Megan shared her extensive experience in supporting teams with federal funding through the Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics (RADx) programs, highlighting the intersection of science and social impact.
Attendees also shared numerous stories from their own countries, broadening everyone’s understanding of how social innovation is practiced globally. Such stories showcased diverse ways in which innovative solutions are being implemented to address local challenges, providing valuable insights into the practical applications of social innovation in different cultural and socio-economic contexts.
