On August 29th, 2020, at Fulbright’s 2020 Convocation , Tien Phong Commercial Joint Stock Bank (TPBank) signed a memorandum of understanding on the Information Technology Scholarship of $50,000 to Fulbright University Vietnam.
According to this memorandum of understanding, the “TPBank Information Technology Scholarship” will be awarded to students majoring in Computer Science with the most outstanding achievements, jointly selected by Fulbright and TPBank within 5 years, from 2021.
At Fulbright, the liberal arts education model offers students the opportunity to experience and pursue a variety of majors. Computer Science is one of the areas to be expanded with a focus on big data, artificial intelligence and software programming.
With a learner-centered orientation and a perfect combination of theory and application, the Computer Science major at Fulbright equips students with a comprehensive knowledge base and the set of skills that will allow them to easily adapt to rapid technological changes, thereby contributing to practical and sustainable social impacts in Vietnam – one of the world’s most rapidly growing, innovative technology economies.
